Draft Planning Agreement Policy

The Draft Planning Agreement Policy has been prepared to establish a consistent and transparent framework for the negotiation, assessment, execution and administration of Planning Agreements within Narrabri Shire.

The Policy provides guidance on governance, probity, public notification, security requirements and the assessment of public benefits associated with Planning Agreements.

It has been developed having regard to the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979, associated Regulations and relevant Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure guidance.

Following exhibition, a further report will be presented to Council detailing any submissions received and a recommendation regarding adoption of the Policy.
